A conservatory café overlooking Highertown Bay, offering whole-food snacks throughout the day using mostly harvest from their own farm and other Scilly growers. On Tuesday and Thursday evening the cafe is transformed into a cosy bistro and proprietor Adam personally catches and batters the fish and chips to eat in or take away. Potatoes for the chips are grown on their farm and fertilised by local seaweed. Booking for the evening is advisable. Winners of Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards 2008.

Relax in our airy conservatory, plantsman's garden or traditional Scillonian glasshouse.

Indulge in squidgy, dark chocolate brownies, melt in the mouth meringues, gooey flapjacks and much more, all home-baked by us.  Take time to appreciate one of our locally renowned cream teas with scones warm from the oven served with Boddington's strawberry conserve and Cornish clotted cream or just simply enjoy a Moomaid ice cream.

At lunchtime there is homemade soup with our own olive oil enriched focaccia bread, freshly baked savoury tartlets and homemade smoked mackerel pâté served with seasonal salad.

Quench your thirst with a bottle of Cornish lager or glass of local wine or just come and see us for a pot of Clipper Fairtrade tea or mug of freshly ground coffee from Origin Coffee, the speciality coffee roaster.

Open 10.30am - 4.30pm Sunday to Friday; April to September.

A traditional bakery in Highertown, with a wide range of breads, pastries, tarts and pies handmade on the premises using organic ingredients. Takeaway lunches are available in the form of quiche, filled rolls, salads, pizza and Cornish pasties.
