On Tuesday and Thursday evening the cafe is transformed into a cosy bistro and proprietor Adam personally catches and batters the fish and chips to eat in or take away. Potatoes for the chips are grown on their farm and fertilised by local seaweed. Booking for the evening is advisable. Winners of Radio 4 Food and Farming Awards 2008.

A traditional bakery in Highertown, with a wide range of breads, pastries, tarts and pies handmade on the premises using organic ingredients. Takeaway lunches are available in the form of quiche, filled rolls, salads, pizza and Cornish pasties.
